The reason being the Addis Ababan mothers are way more than your filthy self.
I will proudly be the son of Addis and I identify myself as such.

Most of them are children from African or Galla fathers. Their culture is like West African slaves. The Amhara have adapted themselves to West African culture. Thus there is no Ethiopian culture as we see it in Gojamme, Gonder or Tigray. I felt I was vising a city in West africa or Congo when I visited Fin Finne 4 years ago.

Addis Ababa is a special place not only in Ethiopia but in the world. And the reason is not the buildings in it or the roads, but the mentality of its people. Real Addis Abebes are easy going, not ethnically oriented, big-hearted, loving, caring, forward thinking, not power-greedy, not wealth-greedy, not narrow minded, and just blessed and joyful people.

The little difference that make Addis Abeba as Ethiopian is Tigrayans, who ahave a distinct ancient culture. The Amhara a a large extent have assimilated to Galla or Oromo Culture and look nlike West and Southern africans in their mentalitality. See Eskinder Nega - has nothing Ethiopian. Lidetu Ayalew - little Amhara or the Berhanu Negaa

I wish you were Addis Abebe even for a day to understan what it means to be real Addis Abebe. The joy it brings to be called one. We don't even have the word ethnic in our dictionary. As one mentioned above, we identify ourselves by sefer, ye piassa lij, ye kera, ye bole, ye kasanchis and so on.

As I clearly said in my post, it does not mean that I don't know my background. My background is Ethiopian and I refused to lower myself to your level.
If I may say something. Dikala is for those who are born outside of a wedlock. For those who are mixed you need to look for a better word that fits them. Like the oromo term "wolmeka".
As far as I'm concerned, even if I got a father from north and a mother from south, I am not a mixed person. I am full Ethiopian. Full-time Ethiopian. Proud Ethiopian.

In fact only a person who is consumed with inferiority complex makes such statement. Addis is the jewel of Ethiopia. Addis is the magnet to Ethiopians from all corner. Addis is the city that grooms the best and the brightest. Addis is a city most Ethiopians dream of seeing, if not able living, before they die.
Addis is a place whose inhabitants are friendly, forward looking, sophisticated, and much more.
For twenty-seven years TPLF cannot understand Addis Abebans. The guy you are talking about I assure you he is in the process of enlisting his kids , if he has any, to private Addis Abebea school. He and his likes has …….01 chance of changing Addis. Addis however has an almighty power of changing them. That is why he is consumed with hatred. If you are not part of it trash it out.
But we know. After all we are Addis Abebans who are full of humility and understanding.
