Prophets Have Little Honor in Their Homes: An Ode to all Parents Who Get Little Glory But Whose Hearts are Truly Holy

This article has been revised to change the title of the article and the feature picture from being person-centric to parent-focused. This world keeps praising powerful people’s accomplishments but the true credit belongs to parents, both of whom made life possible. A mother delivers love and a father provides for his family; there is no hierarchy when it comes to parents. Both play an integral part in raising children and both contribute in their own way.

This is a message I want to give to others as much as to myself, don’t ever lower yourself to raise someone up. Know your worth as a child of God and the world will treat you as such.
