Mehari Yohannes is Diqala. He is talking non-sense. Tigray is the foundation of Ethiopia and separation from Ethiopia is not necessary. Tigray needs only more autonomy like banking, own army, airlines etc.
Eritreans are not cousins of Tigrians. Agame District was controlling most of Eritrea and forced Eritreans to speak Tirigna. Thus most Eritreans are etiher from Beja tribe (Sudan) or Saho.

Eritrea was a district of Tigray. But you are not Tigrayans. Most of Eritreans are Saho, Billen, Tigre and Beja. They migrated from Central Africa and Sudan. There is no blood relation with Tigrayans. Some Tigrayan families may have married to dirty Eritreans, but there is no similarity between Tigrayans and Eritreans. Tigray needs to distance itself from Eritreans. They are worthless and do not change the geopolitics in The Horn. Tigray should rather ally with Amhara and Afar on mutual strategic interests.
