As long as Agames suffer that crippling inferiority complex, they will be engaged in conflicts with all their neighbours because they have that need to prove to themselves that they are better. Being equal is not enough. This behaviour is common among people who feel inadequate and it is known as the "short man syndrome" (sorry shorties). Google, for example says,

In the case of Agames, the short people syndrome is compounded by a tendency to believe their own lies. The TPLF thugs had a golden opportunity during the 27 years when they were ruling Ethiopia to shed their inferiority complex by putting their people out of poverty. Instead, they kept 2million Agames on permanent food aid because that was the only way they could keep total control over the poor peasants. That opportunity is gone forever and now Agames are faced with a bleak future of poverty and hatred from their neighbours. Can you imagine an agame living in Afar, Amhara lands or travelling to Eritrea in the near future. So what is to become of these hapless people as they struggle to go back to normalcy?Small Man Syndrome refers to a condition where a man feels inadequate because of his short height and may try to overcompensate it with overly aggressive behaviour. The syndrome is often referred to as Napoleon Complex in reference to the famous military leader!
