I think Lidetu Ayalew and Engineer Yilikal Getnet are one the few politicians who have a full grasp of Ethiopian politics and they are not afraid to voice their understanding regardless the pressure from the government and other "opposition" parties. That is why the get attacked by all parties on either side of the political spectrum.

If politicians are “attacked” by all parties they either have no core values or are opportunists. Politicians who have full “ grasp” of politics cannot be sidelined by the great majority of Ethiopians.

Yilkal Getnet is the most misunderstood person in Ethiopian politics ,largely because he tells it as it is. ውሸታም ለፍላፊ አጭበርባሪና አሰመሳይ ስላልሆነ ተወዳጅነት የለውም ማለት ይቻላል እንጂ
የህዋት ወይም የብልጵግና ፓርቲ አጎብዳጅ አሽከር ወይም በጎሳ ፖለቲካ የሰከረ እብድ አይደለም If one is honest and not afraid to speak he or she is not popular. most ethiopians are attracted to negativity and want to go with the flow without making sure it is the right thing to follow.This man knows exactly what the Abiye ahmed's political games are all about,but gets so much backlash
