As the saying goes, “When elephants fight, it’s the grass that suffers.” As US and China are competing to control the world economy, they use other countries as their launching grounds for their attacks against each other. In reality, Africa needs both America and China on the same page regardless but they make it difficult for us to have that choice as US would go as far as destabilizing a nation to establish a hegemony that serves its sinister interest. What’s happening in Afghanistan right now is not different from Ethiopia or elsewhere. US stroke a deal with Taliban to pressure China. They well know about the presence of ISIS but they think Taliban is the better option as it would gain more popular support and doesn’t cause treat to the West. Likewise, in order to deter China’s influence in East Africa, US chose to ride on Woyane Mujahidden but at the end of the day, their evil plan will fail.
