Thanks for sharing the information. Food insecurity and hunger is a global phenomenon. It is prevalent both in the developing and developed region of the world. However, the level of acuity differs from region to region and country to country. It is like comparing someone in Ethiopia with a mule as rich and someone in the West with the most expensive car. The quality of the poor in Afghanistan is quite different from the kind of poor in Ethiopia. Looking at the following statistics, you can see that hunger and food insecurity is prevalent in the United States as well.
