The crimes of Menelik against humanity should be condemned unless The Amara say Africans are not humans (actually do)!

We need to condemn Menelik who has committed crimes against Africans in Ethiopia. One could argue it was power struggle. But if Menelik was a king with empathy for his citizens he should not have killed 1/2 million Oromo. Wollaita. Gurgaes, Sidamo.
We need to distance from Menelik and his followers because this has been creating wars up to now. It is easy to unite Ethiopians if we can give them protection and love. Otherwise Ethiopians do not accept injustice on them and will stand up to fight for their right. Tell me an European king that has killed his own citizens? None. Adolf Hitler was killing foreigners and protecting Germans. Mussolini was killing Ethiopians and Libyans but protecting Italians. Senghor Leopold of Belgium killed 20 million Congo black Africans, but no Belgian was killed.
The problem of Menelik was he killed simple farmers from South Ethiopia. He took their land and enslaved them. In this tradition Haile Selassie tried to rule and failed. The same for Mengestu, who was from the nilothic Tribe (South Sudan, Gambella), with no deep knowledge about the traditions of Ethiopia. Now Abiy doing the same. Even Meles was applying some aspects of Menelik legacy when he used Eritreans against Tigrayans to control power, which had catastrophic effect . Meles betrayed Tigrayans.
