Thank you to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan @RTErdogan for warmly receiving my delegation and I to Turkey, today. The agreements we have signed, are going to strengthen our relationship. I appreciate Turkey’s support, in Ethiopia’s continued development and stability.




Back home, after having had a precious time with His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey. Ethiopia will never forget the critical time cooperation, the people and government of Turkey extended to us.

Ethiopia, Turkey Sign Water, Military Financial Cooperation Agreement

Addis Ababa, August 18, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopia and Turkey have signed a water, military & financial cooperation agreement in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Foreign Affairs State Minister, Ambassador Redwan Hussein and the Defense Minister Dr. Kenea Yadeta signed the agreement representing Ethiopia.
The agreements we have signed are vital, in strengthening relationships between Ethiopia and Turkey. I appreciate Turkey’s support, in Ethiopia’s continued development and stability.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said on the occasion.

The Turkish President, Recep Tayyib Erdogan, commended the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries; reaffirming commitment to transofrm the ties to a higher level in several areas of cooperation.
