My anthropology on Amhara and Tigregu

Post by Hawdian » 14 Aug 2021, 04:50

We have known this and is not rather new.

Amhara and Tigregu are quite different despite often classed as "Habesha".

Socially Tigregu is more out going and open.
Tigregu will share and accommodate.

These skills give Tigregu edge over the Amhara and thus are able to build social networks. Today, we see this as evidence with Tigregu cry able to reach more audience than those of the Amhara. You may as well call it "diplomacy".

Apart of the reason is Amhara and Oromo keep everything internally. They discuss things only amongst themselves and pretend all is well when others are around.

Oromo have same characteristics.

Tigregu is more like Somali.

Amhara puts a lot of emphasis on disciplines and Amhara are not flexible. For example they are more unlikely to forgive a mistake.

Amhara are more ruthless and less human, compassionate.

Oromo are similar.

This is why we saw Amhara round up and start killing young men in Tigray while Tigregu drive through towns disarming civilians.

While TPLF is playing politics, I also believe it's cultural and everyone knows Amhara are merciless even when they are disciplining their kids.

I have lived with them.

So in this war we see clashes of cultures as well as politics and land disputes.

If Amhara had unchecked upper hand, a lot of people would have disappeared perhaps including Oromo, Benishangul, Gumuz, Omo, Gambella and even Somalis.

There's not much difference between Oromo and Amhara. They come in to the office as Oromo but surface as Amhara once on the throne.

In Tigray we saw all the fear and the atmosphere. Amhara Liyu, FANO entertained themselves by raping, looting, rounding up people, bullying (for something small as not able to speak Amharic).

Amhara region

In terms of the war, no one will win clearly any time soon. There's going to be need for a dialogue. Tigregu resources will be exhausted. They lack the numbers.

As time goes, more and more militias will join from Amhara and others. Eventually they will gain necessary skills, chain of command and access to more heavy weapons.

OLA is toothless. Little girls will keep them inside the jungles.

Entering towns is not winning. Just ask the Americans and their 20-years occupation of Afghanistan.

All your Fake anthropology analysis is made with no proper evidence to support your claims.

You do not know Libi-Tigrayans very well. Tigrayans are banda they will never hesitate to their their mothers to the highest bidder.
The name Libi Tigray is coined with them for well documented reasons.

Haile Selassie Gugsa, the Traitor Who Betrayed Ethiopia By Siding With the Italians in 1935

The Italo-Abyssinian war was devastating, but much of the blame can be put on Haile Selassie Gugsa. Haile Selassie Gugsa was born in 1907, and he was the son of Gugsa Araya Selassie. Gugsa Araya Selassie was the Shum (governor) of eastern Tigray Province as well as the great grandson of Emperor Yohannes IV.
