Because Abiy bungled the narrative woyane being leba, and of Tigray airports, universities and football stadiums being the result of stolen wealth, we're now paying the price of having to debate whether or not woyane occupied Lalibela. Had Abiy swiftly and officially labelled woyane leba, there wouldn't have been a war between Tigray and Ethiopia.

Tigray now thinks it built universities, football stadiums, airports all on its own, without having to steal Ethiopian wealth.
This was a major mistake, Tigray children are now dying because of this mistake. The simple act of calling woyane leba, would have saved the lives of these children.

Tigray should be officially warned against lying to western media.
For the sake of future relations, it should be held accountable to Ethiopians for every statement it makes.
For every atrocity it reports to the NY Times, it should be forced to submit evidence to Ethiopias.
Tigray boasting about battles never won could be ok, but lying about atrocities never committed should not be ok.
