This is why I try to tell Somalis, we need to integrate because Highlanders are going to finish themselves and going to collapse on their own. We need to be at a position where we have a say about Afar region. The Tigray is best for the Somali people because they want Ethiopia to end its imperialism.
The TPLF betrayed the Somali people, Eritrea and the Tigray. Right now there are Tigray rebels in Tigray region and they hate the TPLF whom they called agame/woyane.
Since Meles is gone, maybe in the next 15 years TPLF will erode and Tigray will break away...which means Somalis get their region too, Oromia can't decide whether to stay with Amhara...they can't be trusted.
The Ras sees the future.
Amhara will come out on top against Tigray. They need to be persistent and drag the war longer.
35 million with access to vast resources can out last 8 million confined to barren land with no ports, airports, water, electricity.
Behind the bravado Tigray is suffering and it will become too clear in the next few months.
Amhara and Afar need to raid the food aid heading for Tigray. Every week delayed means more weak people unable to pick up a gun.
This isn't about Abiy but Amhara existence as a nation.

I see no friend for Ethiopia at this tough time who comes forward and talk reconcile between Amhara and Tigraway, the two closest relatives. Each and everyone pours fuel on the fire that flames between the two. Breaking Ethiopia is on the make and success while the two slaughtering each other.
