I think it is not hard to imagine Welqayit fall in TDF hands very soon. It is better for Agegnehu to withdraw his army before the war and be viewed as a bigger person than fighting and loosing the war. I don't think both opposing armies (ENDF & Amhara vs TDF) have some sort of equilibrium at leadership and equipment level. I think the Amhara people would accept withdrawing for the sake of peace.

I think it would massively help the healing and reconciliation phase after the war. It wouldn't be nice to see the area change hands by war. What do you think?
