Abiy Ahmed and Amhara Regional government have officially announced a resumption of hostility again in Tigray. [See screenshot below]
Today’s Abiy decision comes a day after Amhara government called on its people to arm themselves to prepare for what they referred to a “bitter battle.”
Today, Abiy Ahmed joined Amhara’s government by authorizing his federal force. Abiy is also mobilizing civilians to join the military.
2. Obviously, with this decision we are witnessing a complete moral bankruptcy within Abiy Ahmed’s administration and Amhara government. Instead of keeping peace and security, the regime has turned out to become a major threat to the peace of its own people.
3. Therefore, the International community should be ready to heed to a call for help to stand with any and all actions tha can make Abiy and Amhara militia cease and decease from their current conducts!
4. The country is in its worst shape. The sooner we realize that regional leadership should be allowed and given full control of their respective region, the better the chance for a future national dialogue or acceptable political settlement
