The Leeches and the Oromo are regarded as victims
While the Amhara regarded as the alpha and Omega of Ethiopia. I thought it was the leeches who told us that they were the one who were the alpha and omega not only in Ethiopia but also the wider region.

The Arabs and also the westerners clearly know who the victim is. They know Amhara is a disinfranchised society. They also know its potential. Part of the reason Amhara become a target is due to the fact that Amhara glued the Ethiopians 80 or so ethnics together through its variety of social fabrics. So anyone who hates the very ideal of Ethiopia makes Amhara it's target.
