PM Abiy has told the world and Ethiopians that he is taking out his soldiers out of Tigray with his unilateral ceasefire. Amhara Region refuse to obey his order and decided to continue controlling Western and Southern Tigray. He told them they are on their own ["on your bike" as the British say] if they want to continue fighting.

The Federal goverment's position in regards to Raya and Wolkait is crystal clear! The federal government considers Raya and Wolkait as integral parts of Tigray Region. The federal budget for those areas still go to Tigray.

There was no election in those areas because there was no election in Tigray.

The Amhara Elite at Ethio 360, ESAT ፍትሕ መጽሔት etc. want Amhara farmers with ቆመህ ጠብቀኝ to fight TDF defying the Federal Order. They are just telling Amhara Region to make sure the federal government pays the costs.
