This is the result of the country's prime minister speech ህዝቡ ወጋን፣ ደጀን አጣን. Don't blame the people, blame the rulers who are telling people civilians are fair game. The highest office of the land is used as a way to keep one people against the other. I don't know why you don't see this. People are driven into action by immature and hate filled rulers.
When Abiy engages in dog whistle politics, and says በጌምድር knows how to defend itself from that people, this is exactly the intended outcome. He keeps people at each other's throat so Arat kilo stays safe to rule from.

This is madness, stop it! Collective categorization and punishment of Tigrayans is going to destroy Ethiopia! As if what Isaias and Abiy did in Tigray is not sufficient genocide on innocent citizens from Tigray in the other parts of the country will unrepairably damage Ethiopia's unity
