I disagree with part of his political outlook but he doesn't deserve this. Ethiopia is becoming Eritrea where free speech is not allowed and can get you jail time with no family visitation

I am not sure if the old man has "disappeared" again, but there could be an incentive as we observed last time, in the form of collected go-fund me support.

There is a difference between free speech and hate speech, what about putting that in order?

The former is one's democratic right while the latter is one's responsibility to avoid, at least that is how I understand it.

I can’t defend the man but don’t fool yourself thinking he got arrested for hate speech. He got arrested for undressing your boy Abiy. There are plenty of Abiy affiliated folks engaged in hate speech including himself but they are not in jail. Look at Zehabesha, Yeneta, ESAT etc etc they push hate day after day but they are not arrested like this old man. Be fair, be fair and honest to yourself
