Remember the so-called "Free Syrian Army", a ragtag mercenary group of different Arab nationalities armed to the teeth by Western and Arab nations, paid to fight against the Syrian Defense Forces with the goal of overthrowing President Bashar al-Asad hoping to bring Syria under Neo-colonialism?
We don't hear about them anymore, as they were mere pawns in a zero-sum game, and whose 15 minutes of fame was short-lived, owing to the fierce determination of the Syrian Defense Forces that annihilated the paid mercenaries and forced the remaining few into besieged enclaves of permanent quarantine. The similarity between them and the agame terrorist group is too evident and too conspicuous to be coincidental.
