TIGRE is one of the nine ethnic groups of Eritrea.
They are Eritreans and they have their own language which is not similar to the Eritreans and filthy tegarus (agames) tigrigna, which is called TIGRE language.
Stop promoting this funfunat aliet agames (TEGARUS) to any thing Eritrean.
Call them by their ethnicity and nationality....Agames or Tegarus.

"Tigre" is an Amharic word for the ethnic Tigrinya people. In Eritrea, it also represents the Tigre ethnic group, another branch of the Geeze family, along the Amhara and the Tigrinya/Tegaru people.
The Ethiopians are right to call Tigre because Amharic is their main and official language and that is how they call the ethnic Tigrinya as Tigre.
In French language, the English are Anglais; and the Germans are Allemand.
You should stop asking the Ethiopians to think in your Tigrinya. It is like the English shamelessly asking the French to say the English way and say Anglais or Allemand.

Tigrayans are called tigrayans because of their province tigray. Not necessarily after their ethnic group.

We are facing problems here in this so-called-forum, so-called eritreans have become more ethiopians than the ethiopians themselves. Abe abraham and alikes come to mind. I fail to see one of the 110 million ethios fighting aggressively same as them. Why? No clue...Lol

Don't you see that the filthy tegarus or tigrayowoch of this site themselves telling you or admitting that there are people inside Eritrea called TGRE who speak TGRE language which is completely dufferent than Eritrea's or tegarus tigrigna? So what more do you need to know that tegarus are ethiopians and are not TGRES?

No that would have not been a fair comparison. The English are Anglo saxion. While the Irish and Scots are pure celts in origin. The tigray people and the tigrinya people are basically the same people in origins. But are of different branches and creared different sub identities after the centuries. The tigrinya don't believe they are of the same stock as the tigrayans. The tigrayans how ever believe they are the same people.

Similarities of society of neighboring countries doesn't only exist between these funfunat aliet agames and Eritrea. It is all over the world. They even have similar people in their borders with the Amhara. But I don't see them praising or want to be called Amharu.
