Dr. Sileshi Bekele really well articulated point. We are thankful for you!

Unlike our other institutions, Dr. Sileshi Bekele is the right man at the right place on this critical time of our country. When you have the right person at the right place, Ethiopian interests will be secured at international or local levels.

Dr. Sileshi Bekele, being a researcher and a renowned water Resources Engineer by profession has all the knowledge and experience to defend all Ethiopian interests in any place. God bless him.

His presence alone was a slap in the face for Egypt & Sudan. While they sent their Foreign Ministers, the shrewd Abiy brought in his Water Minster. That painted the stark difference between the two groups as to how they want the dispute to be perceived by the international community: policy matter vs engineering matter. The razor sharp engineer hammered the latter repeatedly and downgraded the treaty aspect that was raised by the two foolish ministers. He made it difficult for UNSC members not to agree with Ethiopia’s position and he ultimately prevailed. This is the kind of excellence and energy Ethiopian needs in our Foreign Ministry and Consulates. We badly need people like Dr Sileshi & Tsehafi Taezaz Aklilu Habte-Wold.
