According to a Suisse based website magazine, AFP should have a copy of a resolution, that is going to be used to order Ethiopia not to fill its own Dam.

What an idiotic idea is it here?

The draft resolution, which AFP has recieved, calls on Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan to resume negotiations at the joint invitation of the Chairman of the African Union and the Secretary-General of the United Nations. A “binding agreement” on the filling and operation of the dam should then be concluded within six months.

The aim of this agreement is to «ensure Ethiopia's ability to generate hydropower (...) and at the same time prevent the water security of the downstream states from being seriously damaged». In the meantime, none of the three countries should endanger the negotiation process by words or deeds. In particular, Ethiopia must first stop “continuing to fill the reservoirs one-sided”.

This should have been submitted by Tunisa, according to the report, most probably at the behest of its master, the washington based, neo-imparialist Amrican current administration, under the old man called Joe Biden.

Ethiopians need to gear up and be preparaed to defend their country! This is unacceptable!

The Ethiopian Ambassador at the UN need not to make much case, just suffice to show the following video, UN is in a moral debacle holding millions of my people in poverty, artificial poverty.

Shame on UN it ignores the glaring facts on the ground and make any sort of resolution humpering the effort of the counry to utilise its resources and pull itself out of poverty.

Historically UN is anti-Ethiopian independence. And it will remain like that in the future too. The principal purpose of this Organization is to suppress and stifle the progress and independence of developing country, especially of Africans so to systematically serve the interest of the powerful and wealthy nations. When Fascist Italy invaded Ethiopia, its forerunner (league of Nations) were mocking at His Majesty Emperor Hailesellassie, during which the King made a historically prophetic speech. The UN of then was an instrument of colonization and the UN of today is also an instrument of systemic colonization which Africans, particularly of Ethiopia, should critically analyze their statements and if possible to avoid it and never enter any suspicious deal or treatments with UN. Doing so is giving away a blank check for them to write any amount they are pleased. Defiance to any pressure of injustice is a justice well delivered. We, Ethiopians have many grand future projects on the Abay river, a dozen times more valuable than hydroelectric power. We should have the right to use the river for large scale agriculture and many other activities and neither Egypt nor any friend for Egypt can tell us what to do in our own kitchen. They should have been thankful for we have not asked them to pay money for our water they used so far. Ethiopia has to think in that line that Egypt has to pay for her use of our water.

I am sorry for sometimes using over-generalization and lump suming of people, it was part of my weakness to fail being objective and failing to look at issues from the stand point of facts.

Here an example of someone who can present her fact based arguments and be in a position to convince everyone, without turning to a lump sum.
