"Confederation" is like the present "ethnic" federation; primitive experimental, genocidal; it's more "democratic" only on paper.

As your hero Tadios Tantu put it, Amhara state formation contribution has more or less defended your languages and culture; showed you how to bear arms and pants; it organized folks to fight colonialism.
