A total of 5.2 million people - 91% of the Tigray population - need emergency food assistance due to conflict.
“We have the teams on ground, trucks loaded and ready to go. What we need now is free, unfettered access and secure passage guaranteed by all parties so we can deliver food safely,” says the World Food Programme.
How would that work when all roads leading to Tigray are blocked???
