2 Birds, with 1 Stone!
Unless US/EU's concern is political, Eritrea can also be used as additional route to channel "food aid" to killil Tigray.
In fact, this route clears Ethiopian gov't doubts that "aid convoys are being used to transport weapons" to the terrorists.

They will accuse us of stealing their gmo aid. No thanks. Let them get it through Djibouti. Seal the border and mow down any weyane rodent that tries to get past.
Re: 2 Birds, with 1 Stone!
I bet you tplf twisted mindset will refuse aid that comes in through massawa … tplf would rather see tigreas starve to death to get world sympathy
Re: 2 Birds, with 1 Stone!
The so-called famine was a pretext for the US/EU to interfere to save their TPLF servants. If they really want to save starving Tigrayans, then Massawa is the shortest route. And as you note, it would also allay Ethiopia's concerns that aid might be used for illicit purposes. But I doubt if the US/EU will willingly accept this. For one, it would put Eritrea in a positive light. For another, it would demonstrate to Agames their dependence on Eritrea.

Martin Plaut and Herman Cohen wants to spread the Woyane infection to Eritrea and Amhara, let them cure themselves in quarantine. It is great they Tigre/Woyane/ are quarantined now. They are just fooling around. It ain't happen. Ethiopia should reconsider bombing TPLF if and overtake where it left off, if some mouthpieces and Woyanes continue to be restless. I say it again, if TPLF does not shut up and handle its own mess go and finish it. It ain't make a difference whether Ethiopia gives a respite or not. We are tire of this woyane's own problem, it is their own bull.crap.

I'm afraid we're dwelling on a secondary issue since we all know that the 'humanitarian concern' the ferenjis have been feigning has never been humanitarian......
As far as Eritrea is concerned, we shouldn't entangle ourselves with these people in any way, shape or form- unless it's forced upon us.

I agree with you. Eritrea should avoid anything to do with Tigryans.quindibu wrote: ↑01 Jul 2021, 20:24I'm afraid we're dwelling on a secondary issue since we all know that the 'humanitarian concern' the ferenjis have been feigning has never been humanitarian......

That is for sure. it is not a new phenomenon. Today more than any time before that idea should not be entertained to allow shipment of aid through Eritrea.
Eritrean Ports Agree to Channel Food Aid to Ethiopia
October 27, 2009 06:25 AM
The Eritrean government has announced that it will allow its ports to be used to channel food aid to millions of hungry people in neighboring Ethiopia, despite the tensions between the two countries. Aid agencies are waiting to hear whether the Ethiopian government will accept the offer.
Eritrea says it has decided to assist famine victims in Ethiopia by letting food aid pass through its Red Sea ports of Assab and Massawa. The Eritrean foreign ministry said Eritrea has no desire to penalize destitute people in Ethiopia for what it said were the wrongs done by their government.

Ethiopia rejects Eritrean ports

Ethiopia has rejected an offer from its former foe Eritrea to use its Red Sea ports to transport food aid.
Some 14 million Ethiopians are estimated to be at risk from famine next year because of the failure of crucial rains.
Ethiopia's Minister of State for Information Netsanet Asfaw told Reuters news agency that they did not need to use their neighbour's nearby ports of Assab and Masawa.
"We have no problem with ports... our problem at the moment is that there is not enough food to be transported into the country," she said by telephone from the capital, Addis Ababa.
