This old furt is getting crazy. Why would the AU or any other entity needs to write other country's constitution? Every country should write its destiny by itself.
What Ethiopians need to do is identify themselves as one.... Ethiopians i.e.
I am Amhara, Oromo, Sidama, Beshangulit etc needs to ASAP.
Drop all the divisive regional flags.
If the region need to work together, we all should come as a country not as a pieces of the neighboring countries.
For god sake, I even heard that the filthy agames have their own national anthem. I hope it is not like wise with the rest ethio regions.

In simple language, Western lobbyists had lion share of the TPLF's annual federal budget than one of its large Region, Amhara. This man, Cohen, is sneaking to snatch the victory of Ethiopians. He now learnt the victory is cemented all occupied Amhara lands are back to Amhara and decided already in the battlefield. Learning that Tigray is now the Lesotho 100% encircled by Ethiopian and Eritrea, he is looking ways to get them an exit strategy by fooling Ethiopians. We are done, Tigres should accept the new reality. They can rejoin Ethiopia with what they have now as decided by the battle.

Herman Cohen, although most of his commentary on Ethiopia lacks depth of understand, he is right on this one. But the African Union doesn’t have the ability to run a bath let alone a conference filled with egotistical men and their followers that populate ethiopian politics.

The only way out this is if the army overthrows Abiy and dissolve the constitution, places wollega under round the clock surveillance, tightens the blockade on Tigray, rebuild our relations with the west. Without the west sponsoring the tigres, TPLF will be forced to bend the knee. The west is the common denominator. A plain fact PM Abiy failed to see, the west twisted his arm and forced him to lose a war even though he won every battle.

Wonder why he tweeted this which is far departed from his usual statements.

The reality is that the west had twisted Abiy's hand because of his incompetence. Ethiopia deserves a competent leader who doesn't throw away wins for 3 years and counting.

You only mentioned one lie out of his heap of lies to may surpass any mountain in Ethiopia. And no one is comfortable to call him out but the damage to the nation continues unabated. Ethiopians must be stupid reading and wasting their time with Herman Cohen's tweet. Really, Herman Cohen thinks for the wellbeing of Ethiopia? Hey, Amhara did anyone read his tweet about the Bahir Dar crisis, death of General Asaminew Tsigie? When is this guy keeping his nose out of Ethiopia's business?

It's not smart to avoid reality or choose to read and hear what gives you comfort. It's also not rocket science to know every country relates to others counties for advancing there own interests. In the case of Ethiopia, there's too much economic dependency on the west and incompetent leaders who can not lead properly.

It seems to me, what you're doing is, "the pot calling the kettle black"!

Why don't you lead the way instead? Eritrea is more or less the same age of around 25 years as the invention of Ethiopia's "ethnic federation". In fact, it was responsible for TPLF success in Ethiopia from the beginning.

Today, in its death bed, TPLF is vowing to destroy Eritrea and Ethiopia and declare "Abay Tigray" or what ever.

Yosief Gebrehiwet, on the other thread pointed out Eritrea has 3 million population as we speak; the reason PFDJ closed border opening after the sanction was lifted by UN was because it can't handle or afford the outflow of more of the remaining population moving to Ethiopia or elsewhere & the loss of business by state owned businesses in the competition of commerce to private businesses. !0,000 or so Eritreans already moved; he said, more would have moved, if they knew the border was going to be closed by PFDJ so quick. His prediction for Eritrea after Isaias is bleak.

So, in what ever way you slice it, the fate of Eritrea and Ethiopia, when it comes to disintegration & survival as viable states issue is concerned, is in the same dark path. We hope we shall work it out for the better however, Eritrea doing an most contribution towards this matter is critical at this juncture.

Can you put some skin in supporting Gebre? Why not?
