Whoever can command and implement a ceasefire across Tigray and avoids a famine situation earns the credibility of a negotiating partner.

Tsadqan has claimed authority but can he deliver? Otherwise, TDF is a ragtag group of unruly rebels, unworthy of a neggotiating table and co-partners in the famine engineering.

What you are insinuating shows that TPLF is really in deep sh---t. After all this mess, why dialog ? You just take the time and come out and fight. That is weak. You are ready to kiss up Abbiy's behind ? Why should he ? He will only come out for a dialog if he is on the weaker side. He is not. Hence, forget it.

So too, it will be disingenuous to consider Abiy a worthy partner for anything but interim/ad hock famine averting situations. Abiy/PP cant even manage the political spectrum in Oromia let alone Tigray.

Excluding the HGDEF factor out, data shows people are divided on the issue.
