This is from Dera! I told you Dera created Amharic and took it to Semien Shewa in the 9th century,
This is a very recently liberated village in Dera and as the commander said, there is still fighting nearby. But as you can see these indomitable Deran battalion decided to celebrate May 20 and invited the whole village for the festival. The people came with food and drink though they had suffered lots of lootings and killings in their families until recently.

This is not Amharic culture rather this is Shinasha Boro People of Gojjam Metekel renamed to Benishangul
