3 questions for Ethiopians who believe that there should not be a negotiated end to Tigray War

Post by sarcasm » 29 May 2021, 20:41

The war has reached a dangerous deadly stalemate(deadlock; deadend; a situation offering no prospects of progress ) and will evolve into a protracted war. The war has been going on for over 200 days.
  • If you going to argue the war should continue, how long do you envisage the war will take?
  • What happens if we hit that time and the war has not ended?
  • Please convince me how continuing the war will benefit Ethiopia with all of the resources & lives on both sides coming out of the country's scarce and limited pool?

Thanks in advance.

Eden, probably by now you would know that I am not a biased person ; I do not see politics based on ethnicity. I believe in your judgment. I believe you believe what I am saying is what I believe. I sincerely believe there will be no negotiation with TPLF. To have a negotiation the TPLF big politicos should accept their politics is outdated. It seems they have no brains to do that. The other day Getachew Reda, who lives in a cave said the Amharas only know “kerrerto” . One cannot negotiate with such a brain dead person.}

You idiot, there is no war in tigray.
If there is war your enemy wouldn't have fed you, provide you with services......light, transportation, hospitals and wages to its enemies. It is doing so, because its mission is not a war with your snotty tegarus except to apprehend or kill terrorists, shiftas and criminal woyanes and their supporters
So, if you believe that there is a war and it will take what ever it takes and you believe your snotty mom, dad, siblings and the whole clay made look alike funfunat aliet tegarus are suffering then help your govt to arrest every single woyane member and its supporters.
No negotiation with terrorists.
And this is the song you need fo hear over and over and comply.
Ask your stupid question to tsadkan the cry baby. The Ethiopians or Eritreans are not begging any body to save their as*ses. You do. So, it is upto you to solve this problem, before it gets worse.

I agree with Cigar. There is no war in Tigray. Tigray has a regional government that in an integral part of the Ethiopian state government. There is a terrorist armed group in the mountains of Tigray, an outlaw entity which being eliminated by Tigray regional administration, the central government and other forces the central government asked to help -Eritrean and Amara forces. This is the reality. If the question is how long will the armed terrorist group choose to live the cave steal, kill and loot, that will be up to the TPLF itself. Sooner or later a massive starvation and famine will decide the end of the drama.

Dear Sarcasm: Nobody wants this "war" but it shall continue until those who started it stop

I do not expect that anyone would convince you but yourself. Nor has the "war" reached a "stalemate". It is in its different phase. No one knows when a "war" ends until it ends. The adversaries in the "war" do have irreconcilable differences. There cannot be a successful reconciliation between them unless both sides possess facts and principles that they share--i.e. commonly acknowledge and believe in. For instance, you know that the TPLF started the "war" but I heard Tsadqan say that his/your adversaries started it. What do you think of Tsadqan's claim? What do you think the Federal Government of Etiyopiya should have done when the TPLF, without clear warning, first assaulted and massacred thousands(?) of the Fed's army, scattered the rest just to take their weapons by force and come out dominant. Do you believe that that TPLF's action was right, legitimate, or legal? The TPLF might have assumed that its adversaries were ready to attack it, but actually they did not, and TPLF was the first to attack. Do you acknowledge or deny this fact? Nobody has heard any remorse or apology from you, or the TPLF & Co. to Etiyopiya(ns) on the consequences of such a cruel and treasonous act.

The Federal Government of Etiyopiya, like any other sovereign State, has the duty and responsibility for self-defense and law enforcement within its territory, and that is what it did. How did you convince yourself that the Federal Government was wrong to react the way it did? You often also accuse the Etiyopiyan Federal Government of "genocide in Tigraiy", but any action of any party cannot be categorized as "genocide" without proving that the perpetrator had a "specific intent to destroy in whole or in part" a certain defined population. https://www.icc-cpi.int The Federal Government and its allies had no such an intent whatsoever before, during or after November 3-4, 2020.

TPLF & Co. claim that Tigraiy belongs exclusively to Tigraiyans, while the Federal Government and many Etiyopiyans (including Tigraiyans) believe that Tigraiy is part of Etiyopiya, Tigraiyans are Etiyopiyans, and Tigraiyans are part of a united multi-ethnic country in which any citizen can live or do business in any location of their choice---i.e. Tigraiy is exclusively Etiyopiyan and cannot be, necessarily, exclusively Tigraiyan.

The TPLF & Co. claim that they are the legitimately elected Government of Tigraiy, but the whole Federal Government rejects that claim because the "election" was neither fair, nor open, or certified by the Etiyopiyan Election Board as the Constitution requires. How do you convince yourself that TPLF's claim to be considered as a legitimate Government of Tigraiy is reasonable or acceptable?

Please explain honestly, if you have any honesty (free of deceit) left in you.

In my view negotiating with TPLF is a suicidal move for any Ethiopian government. By its nature and from its historical record, TPLF never understands a win-win negotiation and if the Ethiopian government starts negotiation then TPLF will only use this opportunity to strength itself and ultimately hit the government or support other rebels in Ethiopian to destabilize the country. The very behavior of TPLF makes it impossible for the government to negotiate because it means not a peaceful co-existence but a suicide. Besides, what TPLF did to our northern command makes it impossible for the government to sit and talk with TPLF. I'm afraid unless the people of Tigray divorce themselves from the evil TPLF I see no peaceful settlement.

TPLF is a thing of the past and Tigray should move on and embrace a peaceful future and co-existence without TPLF. I don't know any Ethiopian with a right mind who trusts TPLF after it massacred our troops while they were sleeping. Even at its death bed, Getachew Reda is threatening the people of Amhara. OMG, how can any sane person negotiate with these criminals? TPLF is wicked and will always be evil and any government trusting TPLF will ultimately be "massacred" by the very TPLF. Ethiopian and Eritrean governments can sustain a low key insurgency like in Tigray for the next 20 years or more but the people of Tigray will pay a heavy price. TPLF is a kind of adversary that you can never co-exist with but must finish it or it must finish you. Sorry but that is TPLF.

Sarcasm you deceitful, resah, funfun agame, YAY explained you the facts and asked you pin point questions. Now, why the hell are you running away from answering when you yourself asked your questions.
Lixmax, hassawi, chifluk agame.
Running away from facts and wars you started is your cultural games.
The truth is that you understood that you agames are dead and done and rather than correcting your mistakes while holding your shifta woyane responsible, here you are sleepless, posting thread after thread scared to death and decimating false claims.
There is no fuc*king war in tigray.
It is your way of begging someone else to bail you out.
Ain't happening. Putting the giant Ethiopia under the bus even if it kills you all agames with atomic bombs to save your resources less, full of idiots humans is just ain't happening
Stop prolonging your miseries.
Answer his questions.
