BBC Interviews Halafi Mengedi

Before he became a constant fixture at Mereja Forum, Halafi Mengedi was an English language teacher at Dedebit jungle. His famous remark that propelled him to stardom is: "....We will break the backbone of Eritreans to create our Abay Tigray Republic on their broken backs!"
