USA is democratic and not imperialist. USA will stand with the democratic world because it will affect the global development negatively. There should be no genocide, no mass starvation, no destruction of property as we see it now in Tigray. Had USA actively interfered in Rwanda, there will not have been 800000 deaths of innocent Africans.
USA is doing the right thing regarding The Horn of Africa. It is supporting Tigray and all other democratic forces in Ethiopia. Mr. Jeff Feltman is the right person to represent USA in Horn of Africa.

Living as a minority group in Ethiopia is dangerous. You saw what happened to the people of Tigray. What Ethiopia can not guarantee to the Ethiopian minorities, America is power to deal with. America is the police of sanity in the world. You are Gurage. Gurages are minority groups. Guragies are also very active in politics. You could be next. The devious, savvy, opportunist and power hungry Dr. Berhanu is about the cross path with the amharas. The Oromos hate your guts too. Hence, be careful what you ask for. Ethiopia is unstable. Abbiy is taking a lot of risk. He is also losing control. What Ethiopia needs right now is a cooling off period. Whether you like it or not, it is American choice. Hence, it would be Feltman. Remember, Iraq. Iraq is a lot similar to Ethiopia. The Sunnis population (Amharas), the Shias (Oromo) and the Kurds (Tigrayans or Somalis) and the rest always fighting one another, look what uncle Sam has done to bring some sanity to the Iraq, Ethiopia is not that hard for USA to bring sanity in Ethiopia. The USA has given a lot of face lift to far more powerful countries. Know you place. Human right violations need to be corrected. For God's sake, you are Guragie. But, you have no right to rape or kill the innocent civilians. When human right violations occur, sovereignty is not a defense. The good news is, America has always cared about Ethiopia. I agree with you. Eritrea has bad hidden problems. People are divided by region and religion. But. Eritreans are peaceful. They know the problem is the very government that is the source of it.
