It's not surprising that the people with the lowest IQ in the world thought ethnic federalism was a brilliant idea. The only way for the 4% agame to lord over the 96% Ethiopians was to introduce ethnic balkanization at the core of the constitution, thus legalizing ethnic based discrimination, exploitation, repression and marginalization to benefit the 4% ethnic minority agame hyenas striping the country down to the bone.
The 27-year running neo-colonial experiment of minority rule in Ethiopia reared its ugly head three years ago with the demise of the most hated junta from Tigray. The neo-colonalists stand to lose financially if African nations are to adhere to majority rule of democracy, making the exploitation of the continent's resources impossible.

Historically, Ethiopia has been in the back pockets of Western powers, except for the 17 years it fell under Soviet's sphere of influence during the Derg communist era. So for the Ethiopian elite class, who traditionally view their country as the "natural ally" of the West, for them to see the West propping up the Tigray minority regime, it created mass confusion and, instead of seeking an alternative means to overthrow the regime, they squandered 27 years trying to outwhóre the Weyane whóre by knocking on the doors of Western capitols. If I may borrow Albert Einstein's quote, the Ethiopian elite were trying to solve the problem with the help of the same power that created the problem, and they failed to see the obvious contradictions.
I remember when President Isaias Afewerki gave interview to Elias Kifle, he said something to this effect: "If a few hundred Ethiopians climb up the Entoto mountains on the outskirts of Addis Ababa and declare resistance to the TPLF regime, you will see the junta fleeing the country in no time." He described the junta as "the most coward people he has ever seen in his entire life." It should be recalled that, it was rock-throwing kids who chased the agame out of Arat Kilo and all the way to Mekelle! I'm sure that came as a shock to the Ethiopian elite who overestimated the Tigray minority regime by virtue of its servitude to the West.

The sad reality is most African countries including Ethiopia need the approval of the ferenjis to change their constitution and the approval process has begun...
I would think junta constitution would be in the trash bin by now

Well, Ok, semantics aside, firstly Ethiopian Federation is not based on RACE as the so-called learned idiot in the video clip stated. It is rather based on ethnicity, which of course is just as bad if not worse. But that is for our Ethiopian brothers and sisters to sort it out and get out of the dilemma they find themselves in.
That said, because of the close relationship that has been developing between our 2 countries, a constructive opinion, without interfering in our internal affairs, I believe could be beneficial and appreciated coming from either side. If Ethiopia is to remain a viable country, one of the first things it needs to do is replace the current ethnic-based federation with a geographic-based federal system, like the system we have in Eritrea or something like that.

Weren't Eritreans also part of the ploy that left Ethiopia in a state it is today in on this issue?
When PM Abiy Ahmed said, okay, let's take some good part of the past and correct what was not good and make a synergy (on the temporal axis) and also on the ideological spectrum of what we have today and base our future on the blend of all of them, he then suddenly created a lot of enemies to himself, left and right.
I think the man in the video is His Holiness Prince Asfa-Wossen Asserate, a nephew of the late HIM Haile-Selassie, a best selling man in Germany and well respected intellectual there but so loathed back home.
We reap what we sow, can it ever be anything different?

Ethiopia came to Eritrea, & illegallly annexed it. The 1st volley was shot, by Ethiopia. Besides, Eritrean intellectual and other contributions to Ethiopia has been remarkable; without the need to list all of the names here. The Prince here knows this for sure, his father being the one recruiting them. I don't want to talk about Ethiopia's destruction of Eritrea in terms of human lives & other precious assets here, though.
Eritreans have turned a page & have said let bygones be bygones, especially after the arrival of PM Abyi upon the scene. I hope Ethiopians like you, would do the same.
