If Abiy Ahmed were honest, he has Enough Reason Now to Declare Ethnic Federalism is Illegal in Ethiopia - Null and Void. Ethnics federalism has already hit a dead end. He must be stupid to even think he can lead this country already got a flat tire due to ethnic federalism. Already more than a million cause to declare Ethnics Federalism is Illegal and is banned. He does not need to conduct election, this an national emergency and can unilaterally declare the Constitution of TPLF is illegal and the ethnics federal structure is illegal and new provisional system of governance has to be put in place, he can lead that. But HE WILL NOT DO THIS SACRED DUTY, because of his Orommuma. He likes it or not that is what is going to happen.

It is sad to watch Abiy Ahmed unable to learn from the failures of his predecessors. It is worth doing the right thing than stuck with absolute absurd mistake and die an infamous death. If I were Abiy I would leave a great legacy by undoing the most wrong thing. Unfortunately, he is missing the golden opportunity of making indelible history. Whether one likes it or not the uprising will end up scattering the ashes of Orommuma into a deep hell sea.

I am not Ethiopian. But, I do think Abbiy needs a compromising ground that is acceptable to all parties. Otherwise, Ethiopia will be on fire. I see valid points from both sides. You can get do away with the ethnic factor and replace it with none Ethnic federalism where the borders can stay the same but every Ethiopian citizen can live anywhere as an owner of the land. If that does not work, You can set up a confederation of four or five states that leads to complete integration within a certain period of time. Going back to the provinces type of arrangement would make the Oromos and others as losers. The way it is, makes the amhara losers as well. Damn if you damn if you don't. I am sure Abbiy does not have the answer for that. Abbiy wants to bring Somalia and Eritrea into the mix, but that is not likely. Kenya, Djibouti and other horn countries are aware of that. They oppose it firmly. Sudan's decision to get into the conflict with Ethiopia may have something to do with that.

Anyone who has watched the first debate of presidential candidates at fans tv should have been appalled by the program of prosperity party. The guy representing the PP was heard often times by repeating what tplf was saying over the past near three decades. The PP has no intention to change ethnic federalism. PP is literally the same as EPRDF. The only difference is that tplf was using EPRDF to abuse everyone and now opdo/olf is using PP to abuse everyone. Who with a sane mind think that pp is different from eprdf ???

And Abiy has no shame when he preaches medemer as his best philosophy or he must be an idi@t. Because, as one cannot mix oil with water, its impossible to mix medemer with ethnic segregation. One is to add, and the other is to subtract. And the evil of all who became mad dogs are the idi@t oromuma who thinks business will be as usual ... This time, this clown doesn't seem to have an exit strategy. He is screwed up.

The below are the most absured things one can hear from a supposed to be leader:

- የወለጋን ግድያ እናወግዛለን (he didnt say he will bring them to justice. He condemns the acts like any other observers or opposition parties)
- In reference to the State killings, ምን እሚል መግለጫ ቢያወጣ? "ከዚህ በሁዋላ ቤት ቤተክርስቲያን ማቃጠል የተከለከለ ነው፣ ከ20 km radius መሳሪያ ይዞ መንቀሳቀስ የተከለከለ ነው.....

Mind here and this is the response of a supposed to be leader in the face of savagery killings.

By any measure, Abiy cannot be a leader at all. I may revise my view if and only if he has the courage to declare ethnic federalism and any ethnic based politics are banned in the country. Short of that, I will never view him as a leader of the country.

He might understand if these savages slaughter his own daughters !

1-What do you suggest then, because it's one thing to suggest dismantling a system of governance, but another thing entirely, to suggest a workable substitute/a viable one?!

2-if it's anything short of giving the various nations the right of self rule, some form of self-governance, then expect Ethiopia to descend into more chaos and all out war, it will make what is going on now and what occurred recently, look like a walk in the park-and trust me, the amara elites and their allies will not win. oromo won't give up. somalis too, sidama, and others who want to rule their own lands as they see fit, won't either.
