Does Ethiopia send its election observers to Europe when EU countries hold their elections?
If the answer is "No," then condemning the double standard, and highlighting the need for Africans to stand their ground is a matter of paramount importance.

Who do these ferenjis think to volunteer as "election observers" unless Ethiopia invited them?

It is normal to send election observers if the host country allows. The EU election observers also observe the US election. I also remember Ethiopian election board members observing the UK election (more of getting experience but they had the role of observation). The practice is normal in a democracy. The Ethiopian election board already announced that it has invited the EU election observers few weeks ago. I see no problem with the practice.
Remember, EU observers only agree to observe when they think the election has a chance to be free and fair. During TPLF fake election they never bothered to observe the fake elections except the 2005 election which they thought could have a chance of being free and fair. EU doesn't send observers to fake elections.

In light of recent events, where the EU is actively engaged in a media smear campaign against Ethiopia, I don't expect its election observers to conduct themselves in unbiased and impartial manner.
