I consider this statement dishonest or naive. Such thinking absolves the parties of the responsibility for the wedge that exists among them. No one is to blame for the problems between two parties but the parties themselves. It's important to know this because externalizing problems won't lead to solutions. I just can't pass this thread without pointing this out.
