This is too little too late. Ethio-Telecom was also incompetent with poor and expensive telecom service and poor customer service but could transform itself to one of the companies with good telecom and customer service in just 3 years thanks to its competent CEO Freihiwot. What is wrong with Ethio-Electric?

Parliament grilled one of the most incompetent and corrupt government owned company. The CEO looks vision-less and incompetent. He is clearly not the man to execute the necessary transformation that is needed. I don't know why the government doesn't do something. Government should sack this guy and replace him with a young, dynamic and visionary CEO.
