I wonder why the so-called 360 never mentions the ordeal of ethio refugees in yemen. Sad... Sad.... Al jazeera covered in its today's news the following:

Ethiopian refugees who were in the houthi administered areas were rounded up and deported to the internationally recognised yemen government areas. Their numbers are in hundreds.The ethios were told by the houthis that the international community should take care of them and feed them

I understand the reason why ethios are flocking to the god forsaken country yemen, of course out of poverty, hopelessness and what have you. As such they they are forced to leave their country and go to countries where no sane person would ever dream or venture to go for instance yemen. Hey, they are in a situation yechegerew irguz yagebal thing. It is sad... Sad..

Let me jump in and give you what I think could be an answer, in my view.

The issue of refugees will not attract much "viewers" and with that also will not generate much coins, the yardstick the owner of the media outlet has openly said recently to measure its achievements (success) is by the number of viewers and with that the amount of coins it could generate.


The coins drive the information that would flow over the "media", in short.

Be that as it may be, your other assertion also needs some clarification /rectification , in my view again.

Yes, there are many poverty stricken and became "hopeless" citizens in the country, but those qualifications will not apply to many of those in the move and you shared their story here.

Many of them engage themselves in actions of throwing stones at law enforcement agents and burning down public and private properties as if there is no tomorrow and then use such engagement as an opportunity to "flee and seek refuge abroad", to have a "better future" for themselves and their families.

It is in fact a sort of an investment for the involved people, mostly young and energetic, productive citizens of the country. Many other people are involved in the scheme, they are the ones who can afford to pay a big sum of money to pay the smugglers to organise and take them out of their own country and end up in such places like Yemen, a country which is war ravaged and became a symbol of hell on earth.

The other driving factor is also the ambition to become rich without any much effort and as soon as possible, which is a generally prevalent social ill in the wider public of the country, as I observed with my own eyes.

I was back home before some time and got an opportunity to observe a certain driver of the so called Bajaj (the 3 wheel transportation vehicle) and he passionately told me how he is driven to be as much as rich as possible without losing much time, easily get rich. This is a prevalent social ill, in my view, stretching over a wider spectrum of the society, from top to bottom.

It seemed to me that there is no more the wish to work hard and earn money, instead it is all about just be rich ASAP and as easily as possible, even if that is by means of trickery.

I was talking about how one can becme more creative while doing all kinds of tasks under another thread and there is a prevalent problem in the country with lack of creativity, in my view.

If there was one, then instead of trying to flee to a war-ravaged country like Yemen, there must be some hope in the country itself and there are signs that this is the case like, for exa., the following video also shows.

Provided that people are creative, I don't think there is lack of resources now in the country and turning the resources into products that can sustain lives is the responsibility of the people themselves and free themselves from "hopelessness".

You can enlighten if I missed something here.
