....cant call it a miss speak because he went on to elaborate and called suppression as the cause of Eritreans not speaking out!
Mind you, Mufti is an opportunistic career diplomat; a fixture at MoFA since Mengistu. He couldnt have made it this far without knowing how to thread on thin lines. He understands hierarchy and as such, he wont be making such sensitive statements without clearance from higher ups.
