If there is one thing we should have learned from the Eritrean thirty year struggle for independence that left Ethiopia landlocked, It's that everything once considered impossible could become unlikely and what used to be unlikely may end up happening, In other words, Ethiopia will split along ethnic lines and disintegrate into many small independent states such as republic of Agew, Afar, Amhara, Sidama, Hadiya, Halaba, Tigray etc whether we like it or not.

keep on dreaming -- if you have stronger backbone than weyane's the stage is ready for you to try it . Till then though dream my lady -- abyssinian ?? get rid of that -- that is the way of independence by itself.

Out of Ethiopia’s 80 ethnic groups less than 5 can be independent the 75 other ethnics will either live in huts for the next 1000 years and will be isolated or slaves (barias) to another ethnic keep in mind 70% of Ethiopians are not Oromo once federal government collapse every ethnic group will succeed from benishangul, independence is just drawing a line across negriolandia villages thus overrated and only good converting economic growth into bloodshed

Yes, Eritrea is an independent nation of proud people!! They are our best friendly neighbor and a nation that came to help Ethiopia in our time of dire needs.

Depending on the time of the day you become Afar, or Somali or Djiboutian or outright TPLF's Chihuahua. One thing that is constant in all of your chameleonic life however, is your hate for Ethiopia and Ethiopians. That ain't anything strange to us.

If fragmenting Ethiopia is as easy as you always pontificate here, the country would have ceased to exist so many many years ago. What you fail to understand is that it is that pressure what makes the diamond. The more you press, the more we stand firm. Once the confusion is cleared and Ethiopians clearly understand the path that their Gov't is choosing to travel by, it will be the final stage to set the record straight and turn your dream to nightmare.

I don't hate my miserable home country which will eventually disintegrate into eighty four poverty-stricken ungovernable and unstable independent countries, However, I hate injustice and false bravado, And who is us? please speak for yourself, By the way, Eritreans (and especially Tigrinya) are emotionally attached to Ethiopia, those people would be more willing to die defending Ethiopia, Stockholm syndrome at its best, But anyway, Ethiopia will use Eritrea and then dump it, Sans aucun doute.

Today's Ethiopia with Abyi at the helm and post cancer of the Horn called- the weyane- is not the same expansionist Ethiopia as before. It's an evolved Ethiopia, which believes in dialogue and understanding than flexing its muscles. But above all, it's an Ethiopia that has decided to free itself from foreign manipulation by remote- to do what it's told in the region- for bread crumbs. An Ethiopia that has opted for a self reliance ideology which fits well with Eritrea, besides its genuine desite to make peace!

* As for your other blabbering, you conveniently forget the key component that lends Eritrea its legitimacy as a Sovereign State: it's colonial experience & the denial from the superpowers of the time, her rights to an independent existence.
