"Even from the perspective of ethnic rights, the current system has not enabled the majority of the country’s ethnic groups to exercise the right to self-rule. An arbitrary nomenclature of ethnic classes has been used to allow certain ethnic groups to be organized as autonomous regional states, while denying the same right to other groups of similar population size.

The constitution, for example, lumped together around 20 million people of no less than 50 ethnic groups within a region called Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region (SNNP), while allowing the creation of a Harari regional state in Harar City, with a population of less than 300,000. Hararis were accorded statehood despite making up only 9 percent of the population, purportedly in recognition of the unique historical and religious significance of the city of Harar, which is fully encircled by Oromia, a massive region with close to 40 million inhabitants.

These size differences create asymmetric power relations among competing administrative polities and the associated political entities that administer them, leading to political, administrative, and economic imbalances.

A highly exclusionary ethnonationalism will create persistent risks of volatility and violence, which could undermine democracy by making authoritarian positions more palatable on the grounds of peace and security. It also creates the risk of major ethnic groups—the Amhara and the Oromo—forming alliances that co-opt smaller ethnic groups, leading to a political settlement that is neither inclusive nor progressive.

The TPLF and other architects of Ethiopia’s constitution could not have missed the ominous signs on open display; They most likely considered their own country’s eventual breakdown as an acceptable, perhaps even desirable, outcome.

ሕገመንግስቱ መሠረታዊ የዲዛይን ችግር አለው።ሉአላዊ ዜጋን ረስቶ የ social contract መርሕን ጥሶ ኢትዮጵያን የ87 "ሉአላዊ "ቤቤረሰብ ማሕበር -አንቀጽ 8 ,አድርጎ ሲፈልጉም ያለገደብ ከማሕበሩ እንዲወጡ አንቀጽ 39 አመቻችቷል።ይባስ ብሎ መሬትና ተፈጥሮ ሐብትና ቀጥሎም ንብረት የዜጋ ሳይሖን የመንግስት ሕዝብና ቤቤ ነው ብሎ አንቀጽ 40 ጽፏል።ይሕ ዲዛይን የማይበር የፌደራሊዝም አውሮፕላን ነው።

The bloody dissolution of Yugoslavia, which was attended by bitter interethnic wars, was also a red flag for what self-determination could entail in a multiethnic mosaic like Ethiopia. It was already clear from the 1984 national census that only 30 of Ethiopia’s 580 woredas (districts) at the time were actually monolingual ethnic islands.

Much of the current West Tigray and North West Tigray zones (Welkait, Humera, Tsegede, and Tselemte) and some parts of South Tigray (Raya Azebo) were apportioned from the former provinces of Gondar and Wollo, which were mainly inhabited by Amharas.

These territories, which roughly make up one-third of present-day Tigray, are vigorously contested by Amhara nationalists as their own—a dispute that contributed to the involvement of the region’s special forces in the recent war in Tigray. Had Tigray under the TPLF proceeded with secession, it would have only been a matter of time before it descended into an intractable border war with the rest of Ethiopia

I know you only read materials from Tigreans or Foreign sources: However, there are enormous reads allover if you are just to open your Junta eyes and see your miserably failed fraud system: I wish you could litigate the piece based on informed judgement. For the kinds who are reactive to anything logical based on their short term misguided ethnic benefits, doing the right thing is a none starter.

The TPLF artificial tribal/ethnic federation is the only and only reason why death and displacement reigned all over Ethiopia. We all see now, it finally chopped of their heads and wiped them out. ያደቆነ ሰይጣ ሳያሰቄስስ አይገድልም እንድሉ:: Demolishing TPLF's apartheid enclave is a no brainer unless one is a brainless TPLF thugs like AbebeB. We know in the end ethnic federation will be dissolved and sanity restored. The country has already reached a dead-end road as far as moving with this dead horse so called federation. What is unfortunate though is sons and daughters of many farmers will perish ignorantly before this happens. The ODP-PP government does not seem different when it comes to shredding the illegal Dedebit constitution. To our surprise, because of the OLF pressure ( particularly Jawar Aba Mencha & Dawud Ibssa) Abiy Ahmed delivered a new baby ethnic federal region called Sidama, a very reduced image and size of the proper Sidamo province. Without any doubt, this fragmented and violent ethnic enclaves will not only cost recurrent loss of lives but will put a stop on the countries future in investment and growth. For instance, I don't know how many investors or entrepreneurs will operate in Awassa in the future. The so-called artificial region Oromiya is also one of the most economically sufferings region. I don't know who will invest there too. Business owners and investors are avoiding regions like this and certainly will be permanent and chronic. The economic power looks like to be concentrated in Bahri Dar, Gondar and Addis Ababa for at least reason of relative civility and security. Even Addis Ababa is haunted by extremist tribalists from farther areas of Arusi and Bale as they are salivating to loot others hard earned wealth. If the current ODP-PP is not taking measure to ban the dead TPLF political infrastructure, I am afraid we will have many facing more Seyoum Mesfin's and Abay Tsehaye luck. I wish this would not happen and fellow Ethiopians learn. Anyone listening to disgruntled TPLF trolls and thugs, beware you are the death track. Save yourself and save your one country , Ethiopia.

You may also want to read what Baro Tumsa wrote in his thesis about "Decentralization and Nation building in Ethiopia" . He did vehemently oppose the formation of ethnic enclaves that only adheres to a mono-ethnic social and cultural interests of a certain dominant group.

Despite the facts though, you and your TPLF buddies are only interested in a power play that believes in militant ethnicity as a means to installing hegemony and dominate others for perpetuity. That model has been tried for 30 long years and crumbled in front of our eyes. Now we are at the culmination of the failed trail but then again the road ahead is riddled with uncertainties that are now open to wild speculations.

If you think you could find your way through by beheading innocent poor farmers and their children in your enclaves, you are inviting a reciprocity whose magnitude would be hard to imagine. Nothing is as easy as hurling a few phrases and words at some communities but when the push comes to the shove, we knew how it just ended for your idolized Junta .

Here is Al-Jazeera for the first time allowing air time for all sides to talk about the ongoing ethnic cleansing in Ethiopia. Now that the TPLF narratives of bogus invincibility myth is evaporated with its authors, the west and the conflict vultures are now forced to opening of their eyes and, in doing so, the silent genocide of the Amhara is coming to the forefront.

Jal Maro is now risen from the dead to support the suspicion that the ODP government is busy covering up the atrocious activities of OLA while supplying it with heavy weaponry. The Oromiya administration is working overtime to normalize violence and as such prepare the public for the coming enormous genocide that seems inevitable to happen.

Oromo Liberation Army destroyed the modern Train Station in the Amhara Region Senbete Town. The militants are said to have destroyed millions of worth properties in the station.
