It Would Have Been Infinitely Better for Agames Had they Accepted the Border Delimitation Instead of Being Kicked Out
We have a phrase in Eritrea to describe people like the Agames "ክብረት ዘይፍትወሉ" which applies to people with "No self-respect". The Agames had many missed opportunities. They should never have started a war against Eritrea. That was the day that their downfall began. They should have accepted the border delimitation decision. When Abiy accepted it, they should have followed him. But it was not to be. Drunk with their own lies, and believing that they could win a war against the Ethiopian and Eritrean people, they decided to commit suicide. Now, all the lands they stole from their neighbours are gone for good. The defeat that the agames suffered will reverberate for generations.
