Yes indeed bro. Come to think of it there was nothing about him that would make Ethiopians hate. He consistently has supported the idea of a united Ethiopia, rather than a fragmented Ethiopia, even when he was a little-known guerilla fighter in the Sahel mountains. In spite of some misguided Ethiopian politicians' unhealthy attitude towards independent Eritrea, he always has had that wisdom of differentiating between the peoples and regimes. As he always stated that "Regimes may come and go, but people were here to stay"!
The irony is even the Weyanes don't really hate PIA as they utter their useless propaganda drills. They actually adore the man but never had the guts to admit it. Needless to say, if the Weyanes did not have the ulterior motive of creating what they called "ዓባይ ትግራይ"፡ at the expense of both Eritrea and Ethiopia, and foolishly initiated the so-called Badme war, it is not easy to foresee how Eritrea and Ethiopia would have faired economically in the last 30 years! But the evil Weyanes made a huge mistake, after mistake by picking up an unnecessary and unwarranted fight against Eritrea and finally against Ethiopia, which turned out to herald their final demise by the Ethiopian Defence forces.

Time to recoup the many years, & the lost opportunitues!

Capisci anche il significato della parola majority/maggioranza? .. No, Balambaras Vamire Afewerki è l'amico del weixo/amhara/neftegna, non quello degli etiopi. c'è una grande differenza tra i concetti di "The Ethiopians" e "The weixos. .. "Chiaro?
