Interesting to read. The military may not be available for coup but Shimeless Abdissa is.

I honestly was thinking about Shimeles in the last few days after I heard from people close to him how he has become more and more confident, even prideful and boastful thinking Oromia is more important than Ethiopia etc. I was thinking he could pose the next challenge for PM Abiy but not because of his thousands of Militias but because of him becoming more and more confident getting too delusional by the day in his position. I know right now he is still loyal to PM Abiy but his delusion and pride soon may get in the way and he may think he can replace PM Abiy and get beaten badly. In any case he is definitely a man to watch closely for the coming months and years.

Mark my word, ሽመልስ አብዲሳ will be the next Seyoum Mesfin or Abay Tsehaye. He has been so much restless creating un necessary loss of lives pushing on good for nothing Oromumma sh!t. He will certainly kiss dust for he is pursing the exact path the dead TPLF had been doing. Does not he have a good person to advise to refrain. Any tribal leader — I do believe — will not be the leader of Ethiopia in the future.
When TPLF came to town it had manufactured yes men in the name of Amharas and Oromos, later the South. That was a one time thing ; It will never be repeated.
What I do afraid rather is tribal leaders becoming captive to their radical elements and encourage mass evictions and murder based on identity . That still is a problem, and will continue to be as long as the current constitution remains in place.

You should only blame the TPLF/OLF manifesto imposed on the rest of us. You can't have it both ways. However, I am not sure why OLF army is in Amhara Regions to start with. The heartless and immoral Orommuma trying to blame the victims is a propaganda style taken straight from TPLF play book. It is the new low! Push beyond the limit and ya shall see how far you could go.

Eradicating tribal self-appointed leaders may take sometime. The reason why tribal thugs like Shimelis Abidissa are still active is because these are raised, appointed and indoctrinated by the now deceased Tigre liberation thug. Like the Biblical saying :

"And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins,... "

It is a matter of time they will be haunted by their crime and pay for their sins like we witnessed in Seyoum Mesfin. No blood spilled remain in vain. What I am encouraged by is the awareness, enthusiasm and decisiveness of the Amhara people as well as other genuine Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia. When the West cried foul about Amhara and Eritrea it is a clear prompt that Ethiopia is on the right track to restore sanity. And it certainly is happening now. These few here and there skirmishes are just final attempts of the saboteurs lurking in ODP-OLF. The race now is between a Lion (Amhara and other Ethiopians) against impalas( Tigre liberation thugs OLF-ODP/PP). It is not hard to predict the end, the lion will break the necks of the impalas. What is very unfortunate though is it is hard to reach out the illiterate farmers and raise their awareness, Look what is happening, many Tigres in Tigray still believe Seyoum Mesfin and Abay Tsehaye are still alive and walking. Thus, many illiterate farmers share their bare minimum daily subsistence with TPLF and sadly, TPLF recruit child soldiers, kidnap their women, rape them and finally stage up horror news to plea for help from their Western masters. The idiot OLF Galla ,the pack animals of TPLF, are ruining the lives of people.

That actually is a question you should ask yourselves! Your genius friend has it right in that Ethiopia should be a country for all equally. That doesn't mean though, one ethnic has to murder indiscriminately others because of their identity. The OLF barbarism is indefensible. Short of that, your kin are the ones controlling everything in the country small and big while at the same time blaming others for their utter failure. We are only struggling to be allowed to live equally like the rest of you. The kegna boys are unhappy that some are exposing their dubious plots at individual level.
