PM Abiy's use of "their people / your people" instead of "our people & my people" in his warning letters to TDF

A lot of people are commenting on the PM's use of "their people / your people" when he referred to Tigray people in his communications.

The below comments is another viewpoint I found on Facebook:

A month back, Ethiopia's Chief of Staff General Birhanu Jula in his Amharic interview said "If TPLF is to continue fighting, especially if TPLF is to resort to a guerrilla fighting...well, that is not a serious problem to us; they will only bring further misery on their own people...they will only prolong the agony of their people", with a sarcastic tone, and a smile on his face;

Two days back, Ethiopian government had a press release. It contained a similar "their people" expression.
One bold truth is that Ethiopia's government doesn't consider the people of Tigray as its own!

Amazingly, the pronounced Negadras Gebrehiwot Baykedagn 120 years ago had a similar view on Minilik, who on his maximal capacity, committed a cycle of Genocide on Ethnic Tigray. We are on dejavu of history, when a modern day half-cast Dache Gobena coordinates a campaign of Genocide on Tigray.

Ethiopia's government uses possessive pronouns with TPLF and Tigray; he has never said "our people" with reference to the people of Tigray, but "their people". Ethiopian government considers itself as a colonial power, in Tigray.

That is why we insist that Ethiopia's army(and government, in general) leave Tiragy, immediately.

Anyone who has read your TPLF manifesto, as well as your ethnic federalism mumbo jumbo, is compelled to say "your people" observing proper etiquette and good manners. Now go out and roll around the sidewalks while screaming "My beoble! My beoble!" :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
