For those of you who are ambitioned just about the removal of the current leaders of this country at different levels, it should be better for you to just draw a lesson from them and do and show something better than they are doing, else you are fighting not against those in power alone, but against the mass, whose lives are showing some level of improvements practically.

They are inagurating projects after projects in many different parts of the country, here just today two of them first in Wonchi (inaugurate the start of Wonchi Project), then in Ginchi (perhaps the home town of the regional president himself, inaugurating the completion of a big transformer for the district and its environs).



If they continue on this trajectory then they are poised to change the country in less than 10 years, I guess. "Work hard, don't steal, and then there is nothing that will hinder you from achieving your goal", I think that is their paradigm.

I don't see the relationship between the title and the story conveyed. Though I do agree on your conclusion if it isn't an election stint. We will see that in time. I hope they do more in building fraternity among Ethiopian people..that seems to be the main deficit,and everything could be undone just because of that.

I think it was un-oromo to discriminate against someone based on someone's identity.

There is a saying in Amharic and also in Afan Oromo which goes like ልጅ ከልጅ ብለዩ አመትም አይቆዩም and that didn't come from no where. It is based on the cultural and social value the people's life was based on for generations.

Here in the following video the PM is talking about the adopted name of Dr. Abraha Belay, General Manager of the Project in Wonchi, Geda Olana, which is symbolically saying that he is part of this community.

The second point is that, in my view, those who have got hope have no interest or motive to go on rampage of killing fellow citizens of their own.

So, to put down the consequence, extinguish the cause. Sitting around and wishing the disappearance of the consequence will only remain what it is, a wishful thinking.

If the youth get hope then it will keep the peace and the fraternity of the people in the country and beyond its borders.



Ethiopian youth are not only those from the extreme, but also those the likes of this fellow citizen, a national Heroin.

Lakeshore, I hear your concern though; Ethiopians thinking of investments maybe reluctant to go there; you can't keep scaring the hell out of folks and expect a different result.
