The concept of synergy works when two or more players decide to work together in an integrated manner to achieve certain shared objectives. Synergy is 1+1 > 2 or 1+1+1>3 etc. For achieving synergy the players have to have shared vision and objectives. On the Tigray war Abiy mainly involved the mafia Isaias, shifta Amhara militia and the Ethiopian army . However, all three of them has no shared vision and objective as illustrated below.
Isaias vision is to rule the Horn of Africa directly or indirectly and he has to destroy it's rival TPLF to achieve this objective
Amhara militia/shiftas, recurited mostly from Gondar, is dreaming to resurrect the unitary Fedual Ethiopia where Amhara elites were dominating Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa and to recover lands that they claim from Tigray and elsewhere.
Abiy is dreaming to be Emperor of Ethiopia and a shaker and mover of Horn Africa, if possible the whole Africa.
The Ethiopia Army has been molded by EPRDF to protect the sovernigty of Ethiopia and it's constitution.
Hence all the above participants in Tigray has no shared vision and objective and the only short term galvanizing factor is destroying "their demon TPLF "..
If they succeed to eliminate TPLF they will fight against each other until one of the sallows all of them. Abiy instead of resolving his political differences with TPLF through dialogue he opted for very wrong alliance with those determined to destroy Ethiopia or part of Ethiopia and the result is Ethiopia is humiliated and being a playing ground for it's historical enimes.
