I really don't know much about the history of the king of king Menelik but I have heard many agames like Memhir Gebrekidan badmouthing on Menelik for separating "both Tigrigna speakers". If Menelik's only sin against Agame is because the king separated Eritreans from ተንከባላላይ ዘር, I have to say he did absolutely wonderful job. I can't imagine living as neighbours let alone in the same country with the twist heart agames.
By the way, Eritrea had also become part of Ethiopia after Menelik until 1991if my memory serves me right. So, should the ተንከባላላይ ዘር still blame King Menelik for separating Eritrea from ተንከባላላይ ዘር in 1991?? I really don't think so... 
Anything and everything that helps to widen the gap between the people of Eritrea and ተንከባላላይ ዘር is definitely welcome.
