The world needs to know the extent of bad blood and rivalry between these two ethnic groups exist. I agree completely I know you are Tigray if Tigray had your mindset their WOULDNT be a need for a war. Also Amharas had no choice or awareness of Amharaphobia rhetoric that was being created under TPLF. Amharas went through a Genocide 2.5M Amharas were exterminated under Sebhat Nega and Meles Zenawi and the whole world was silent including Ethiopia 1991-2016 Amhara Genocide was going on way longer then one can expect Amhara had no self consciousness to be able to unify or address the genocide by biherbiherseboch. Tigray was ahead of the game in the 90s Tigrays gained power and control of Ethiopia’s economy and military the Tigrayans had something we didn’t which was ethnic nationalism /ethnic supremacy. Tigrayan Chauvinism is to blame for this War. I believe now Amhara is equal to the Tigrayan when it comes to ethnic consciousness. The Amharas in other regions have yet to catch up and are behind and persecuted for no reason other then being born Amhara
