Eritreans are pathological liars: they never won a war against Ethiopia. It is TPLF who helped Eritrea!

I do not how many of you believe Eritreans. They live in lies and lies. It is thanks to TPLF, Eritrea exists now. Mengistu defeated Eritreans many times. TPLF helped th Eritreans and they continued fighting against their will. They wanted to compromise with Dergue. Eritreans wanted to give Asseb to Ethiopia in exchange of independence from Ethiopia. Mengistu refused and threatened them to fight with last person. TPLF opposed Eritrea's plans to give away Asseb in exchange for independence of Eritrea from Ethiopia. I do not know whether this was the right thing to do. Now it seems it was as the Whole of The Red Sea Coast will be under the control of Tgray-Tigrigni Republic.
Eritreans say Tigray is the cause of their misery. It is Eritrea which started the war in 1998, which ended in the defeat of Eritrea. Tigrayans did not forget Eritreans. It is the way Issayas Afeworki was acting that made negotiations difficult. Issays was after the money Saudi and other Gulf States could pay him for being a threat to Ethiopia.
Eritrea was arming ISIS foot soldiers and Al Qaida units. It was actively supporting terrorism against Europe and USA.
