I was in Addis Ababa a month ago before Teamir released her new single. She was rocking old Mululken and Tilahun's songs and Addis Abebans were crazy about her.

The Menewa song is fine; I do like Teamir but, the European looking theme of the video story is out of place. Looks as if it's trying to imitate some white girl of Denmark talking to an invisible white man? What is up with that? The bike is fine but, አነስ ያለ ከገበያ ሽንኩርትና ቄጠማ ወይም ቅጠላቅጠል አዝላ ብትሰራውስ? Meaning attaching it to local life.

If this was made somewhere outside the country, it is fine otherwise, looks a bit disconnected to a local setting unless I am missing something? Why not use Entoto park or places like that to make it realistic and connect it to local?

I have also enjoyed the comments where a lot gave her genuine feedback in which a lot say on how they are tired to see naked flesh, make up, expensive house, flashy cars.....etc. this girl should be rewarded for displaying just the basics yet sing it in an excellent manner.

We know you hear her in your foxhole, a typical : weyane say something and do completely another.

This new singer Teamir has definitely beautiful voice, beautiful music and beautiful singer. But when we speak of gifted voice, I have not heard another one who is as gifted as brother ኢሳያስ ታምራት. He might be the best when it comes to gift even though I doubt he is invested to use his talent... Please enjoy this song:
